I did a recovery on my Mac and lost all of the music and videos I had in iTunes. I have slowly downloaded some stuff into itunes but I'm afraid once I plug in my ipod it will over write thousands of songs and replace them with the few that are now there. In short, how do I get my stuff off of my ipod and back into itunes? I'm scared of losing everything!!!!

  2. Download idump (google it)

    Open it

    Plug your ipod in

It'll take all of your music off your ipod and put it on idump

Then copy the music onto itunes

    Hope I helped!!

  3. Yes, once you sync your iPod to Mac, you will lost all your files on iPod.

But you may try this ipod transfer for mac, it can help you copy music and video from iPod back to computer for backup, then you can restore your iPod to iTunes and re-add them to your iPod
