  1. no it wont help at all....afterwards it will help a little, and make the swelling go down. i have mine pierced and i think it's my favorite one (out of 7). It didn't hurt at all, just a tiny pinch!! don't be a wuss!! just do it!!!!

  2. I have the monroe piercing and it was only like a pinch. It wasn'tt unbearable. After I got it, it was just hot, but didn't hurt. PS. You ARE NOT supposed to take anything before or awhile after a piercing or tattoo. It thins the blood and makes it harder for your blood to clot.

  3. Not at all, it won't make any difference at the time.  It can't be that bad or no one would get it done, I guess it will hurt a bit, but not be agony.  It may help with the swelling or discomfort after though.

  4. im sure it will help with the pain while its healing. it might not do much but it can't hurt to take a few.

  5. Piercings don't hurt as much a people make out  it's literally in and out it's only the after dull kind of pain but it doesn't stay like that for long and it's all worth the pain if you look after them :) good luck hope you like it!

  6. no it will not help

ive tried it every time i have gotten a piercing

  7. it will help just alittle, but don't take any. it makes your blood thinner and it will be harder to stop the bleeding when your a pierced. just wait till after if it still hurts, thats when you can take some.

  8. no.

  9. no but they should have numbing cream if you are really worried that they can put on beforehand. i've only got my ears pierced once and i freaked so much that they had to deaden my ears with this stuff an hour before so it wouldn't hurt

  10. no it probably wont help, but it should do afterwards as Ibuprofen is an anti-inflamatory. Will they not numb your lip? They numbed my tongue but it still hurt a little, its more the pressure of the needle as it is being forced through your skin (urgh! I feel queesy now lol)

    good luck x =) x

  11. It won't help while you're getting it pierced, but it might help a little after. so just (wo)man up, it only lasts a minute! and it really depends on how much pain you can take.

    good luck!! =]

  12. i had a girl friend with a lip ring and she said it didnt really hurt at all. dont worry.

  13. no it wont make a difference. you can get a numbing cream which you can apply to the area about ten mins before you get it done and that should help... i used it when i had a piercing done once. i cant remember where i got it from tho..... try boots or a chemist?
