Will India be able to defeat the resurgent Sri Lanka team at home ?

No team in world,even Australia has a great record in Sri Lanka.If India manages to win ODI series,then it will be great achievement.Without Sachin,the task has become more difficult.This is Dhoni's real test as Indian captain.

The Sri Lankan team is on a roll!!! It's not impossible for the Indians to beat the Sri Lankans, but it definitely isn't going to be easy. The Sri Lankans are really confident, and I think the Indians have lost a bit of their confidence since the Asia Cup. As you mentioned, Sachin not being on the Indian team, and Mendis being on the Sri Lankan team makes it that much more harder. It IS going to be Dhoni's real test as India's ODI captain.
