Will India be in line with advanced countries by 2020 A.D.?

Will India be free from illiteracy, unemployment, houselessness, beggars, starvation, diseases, no security in old age and in rainy days, corruption, bribes, scams, scandals, muddles, commissions and all that by that date and if not, we shall feel ashamed with these people

Dear Sir,You have forgot to mention the 1 of the greatest hurdles India has to be advanced country is terrorism and lack of Nationality by its own citizens.To be advanced all the citizens ,all teh community should love their country first religion next.By suuporting the people who are dancing what our neighbouring country is ask them to do , this country far from development.........sorry to say.

Dalip it is always good to be optimistic and hope for the best, but the chances are bleak till the character of Indians improves on the individual and national level, and the Indians stop; robing mother India, stabbing her in the back and selling her for personal gains. This is an unfortunate but bitter truth. No country and or nation has remained in slavery for as long as India has and the cause is lack of character, stabbing mother India in the back, robing her and ill treating her own children.

Every one knows how shameful it is to, gamble and even more so to put ones own wife as a commodity on stake in shameful gambling misadventures and that too without her permission and knowledge what so ever, then dragging her by holding her from her hair into the full court by her own relatives in the presence of the King himself who was also by relation her father in law and then public and judicial unrobing of an innocent women i.e., ones own sister in law and or daughter in law in presence of the ultimate court of Justice that is the King himself and the so called all the Rishis and Munis, pandits and the so called honourable elders, raajguru etc., etc., none objecting the most shameful act and only quietly witnessing that, consenting by permission, commission and omission and doing nothing.

That was in the so called good old days when Bhagwan Krishna came to her rescue now what about Kaliyuga. These are the bitter facts per history.

As an Indian saint Santiyaanaa has said, "Those who fail to remember the past are doomed to repeat it." That is how important it is to know the truth and facts, recognise it and make honest efforts to improve and change for the best. False pride and vain ego are formidable enemies of intlect gone nincompoop, unwilling to learn and improve and disrespect Sarswati.

ive been to india and it is rising high to deal with unemployment and education. i think its almost as weatern as all other countrys but with such a high population keeping begger free  i think will take many generations to come! however if dam bollywood and cricket gave its money to charety india would have no beggers at all!!!

India should crush the internal terrorisom problem once and for all. If that grows it will stop foreign investments. If it means crushing Pakiland too , it has to be done. If that is not done u can forget abt ever coming close to Advanced level.

I wish I could say yes to your question. That seems to be a pipe-dream. We are still lacking in the fire to do that. We have not jelled together as a nation. We continue to work at cross purposes. Our farmers struggle hard to remain in farming. Their indebtedness and the resultant economic woes continue to torment them. The manufacturing industry is still struggling with the dumping of cheap goods from China and Pakistan is recklessly dumping fake currencies into the country and using them to finance the terrorists. The government is blithely doing the window-dressing, without goading itself for an effective measure to contain them. I am pessimistic.

Advanced is a word you need to define, if you feel India should be advanced like hippies, or similar breeds, its better where it is, but with the problems you indicated, are existing every where in the world, some have managed to over come some of the problems but not the every problem, and yes, India will be super power by 2020, regarding employment, public is now aware of birth control, also lots of opportunities have been opened by the IT sector, and growing, with almost 800,000 employed directly or indirectly. similar fields are opening, govt. is promoting self employment with the help of finincial institutions, corruption, bribes, scandals, muddles etc. are existing all over the world, but the way of handling is different, commissions are more popular in the deveeloped countries more then India, we do feel ashamed with these people, because handfull of people are spoiling the countries image internationally.
