Well, israel isn't a country because they refuse to define their borders and they have no official constitution. Besides, they're not in Europe.

I hope so, for many aspects Israel is more European than the Islamic country Turkey (imposed to EU by US as Nato Allies).

Israel is not a nation and they are not part of Europe or Asia as some believe, they`are part of the Middle East unfortunately.

Israel's in Asia, but I would imagine that the EU will expand at some point beyond the continent of Europe, so you never know.  I would think before Israel was admitted though, it would have to go alot further towards resolving the Palestinian question.

lol, I don't think so.  The EU usually cheers for Israel to be wiped out, for example, just yesterday.

After them actually taking Turkey's bid seriously, I really don't see why not, it has more in common with the rest of Europe.

Israel should join the EU since most of the government leaders of Israel are European.
