I cannot find any info on this but it's causing arguments in a local blog and I want to settle it. I say NO that JGR did NOT sign anyone new to race a truck for 2009!

There is a driver that races here on a local track...he's "ok" there are drivers that are much better and some that are much worse. Yet his adament supporters claim that he signed with Joe Gibbs to start in a truck in 2009. I cannot find one iota of info on it.

Does anyone know where I can find the truck lineup for 2009???

  1. Got to agree with MindCriminal on this one Maggie, JGR does not field a truck team. And haven't heard that they are starting one either. Now JGR does have several developement deals with other teams...but usually they do not go thru the truck series (i.e. Joey Logano) Gibbs seems to like Hooters Pro Cup, The East and West Nascar series, and Arca. I haven't seen any eventual Gibbs drivers go thru the truck series. As always....just an opinion.

  2. it's obviously not the truth cuz i cant find any thing either

  3. Joe Gibbs Racing does not compete in the Truck Series.  If you are talking about the team that Kyle Busch has raced for this season, that is Billy Ballew Motorsports.

However, Marc Davis, who is a development driver for JGR, has been hired by Randy Moss Motorsports to drive in the CTS for 6 races this season.  Davis got permission from JGR to drive for that team, which fields Chevrolets.

  4. LOL Maggie go win that argument now! Good luck!!
