Will Jimmy Bartel perform better in the second half of the season?

A few commentators and players have been saying the Jimmy Bartel brownlow medalist from Geelong will explode in the second half f season, as his form hasn't been fantastic the first half I agree he has a lot left in him!

the last few weeks he had a nigglin injury, but with the break it probs would help him...n it obviously has so far, also wit gary ablett in AMAZIN form(b4 lastweek where he played more fwd), teams r payin SO much attention 2 ablett and less on bartel and corey, i agree bartel will definately play A LOT betta in the 2nd half of season

Bloody h**l -the guys averaging about 28 possessions.  He's fifth on the disposals table behind two other Cats and he's in a form slump?!

He's just being overshadowed by Ablett and Corey and perhaps Ling.  A few others like Mackie are also popping their heads up so he doesn't look as great.  

E.g. Why did Harvey and Libba look so good for so many years?  They were the 'go to man' and the 'go get it man' respectively in fairly weak teams.

OK his precision is just a little down I suppose but he's doing OK and he'll probably improve a bit as the season comes to an end.  Hope he gets better - he only needs another 29 possessions this week, over and above what Corey gets, to get to the top of the table ... so Corey gets 31 possies and Bartel gets 60.  That'll be a good game to watch!!

yeah, he is a very underated player though he has played some great matches and he falls under the rader very easily compared to someone like buddy who if he plays a bad game everyone goes spaz at him , Batel is a great player and isnt treated very greatly because he has got so many other great players at his club, i think he will play way better in these last eight matches or 12 matches for the cats, he needs to play some better football though i think he has great skill and is a current legend of the game, in my opinon better than ablett

I think that if he does improve his form any further he's not going to be human anymore! He already has had a great season, I mean, 41 possies last week was incredible! I think he might have a little left in him, but you should be happy with his performance so far =)
