Question:

Will Joe Calazaghe's limitations be exposed?

like Enzo Maccerenelli who was from the same stable? If not by BHop then by RJJ or another boxer soon afterwards? To me he's just a middle talented pressure fighter. He lacks outstanding skill, speed or power and simply wins by workrate.

  1. Yes they will be exposed. Hopkins is great at finding what a guys isn't good at and altering his style to be a problem for them. Freddy Roach and Hopkins are some of boxing greatest minds and Joe will be exposed in this fight. I personally want to see how he reacts to a fighter who isn't standing in front of him taking every shot he throws and isn't boxing. I want to see how the New surroundings,Weight,Tough er opponents are going to effect him as well. Alot of Calzaghe fans have this unrealistic superman like image of Joe being a guy who keeps throwing and dosent lose any rounds or fights. But how does he react when hes' in the ring with a smarter fighter or when he isn't winning 10 rounds to 1 going into The 12th. Joe can win this fight but will be exposed and if he dosent retire whoever fights him next are probably going to copy the blueprint

  2. Are you kidding me? He didn't just outwork Kessler by the middle rounds he was out jabbing and also out manuvering. He is a pound for pound elite fighter. He will jinx B Hop with his hands speed and will to win. Bernard looked like trash against Winky Wright and he will not be able to keep up with Calzaghe.

  3. I do believe that B-hop's last stand will be enough to beat Joe C.  B-hop has enough talent, skill, and heart left to teach Joe C. a lesson, I see a Unan. Decision.

  4. If anyone is gonna expose his limitations it would have to be hopkins , jones cant beat anyone anymore , he only beat trinidad cause trinidad was fighting at way too high of a weight class he had no buisness in. Not to mention tito had not fought in years before taking the jones fight. I thought hopkins looked very good against tarver and winky and has at least 1 last good fight left in him. Im sure he will figure out a way to frustrate and take advantage of some of calzaghes mistakes , but no question this will be calzaghes toughest fight yet but not for hopkins. He has been there before plenty of times. I think Joe is a very talented good fighter but dont know if hes "great" just yet if he can beat hopkins convincingly then i give him all the credit in the wolrd even if b-hop is 43 years old. But im going with b-hop on this one.

  5. b-hop may be too past his prime to be successful against joe, so calzaghe wins this one....as for rjj, he might have enough in the tank to outbox joe....it all depends if joe can get inside to do enough as i don't see rjj taking any risks because he isn't the lightning fast "get in & throw a combination-get out without getting hit" jones of old.
