  1. Sakic will obviously stay with the Avs. i have a feeling Foppa will resign as well.

  2. Sakic has already told Giguere he's not retiring

Forsberg and his agent have told Giguere that he isn't retiring, but if they don't make an offer by June 30th, he will test the market.

  3. Their both staying

  4. I think they'll both come back, but the Av's will let Forsberg find a new team because they won't want to deal with his injuries. But I think Sakic has 2 or 3 more years, and the Av's will gladly sign him until he's ready to go.

  5. hopefully Both retire

  6. I'm also kind of an avs fans but sakic, hes growing older and older, so I'm not real sure how many more years he really has left considering the game is getting quicker, tougher but at least he brings veteran presence to that lineup. He will definitely help    out with the players like Svatos and other young talent in their development. As far as Forsberg goes, I'm not really concerned with his age as I am with this guys injuries I don't remember the last time he has played one full season... anyways it seems like both players are probably going to play another season,  so it doesn't look like they have any plans of calling it quits unless one of them comes out with an, out of know where announcement

  7. I hope stay as and Av fan we need them as old as they are

  8. My guess right now is that Joe will be back, and I think Forsberg will draw it out again,m and make us all wait, and then come back in the middle of the season, or not at all.

It's great to see another avs fan on here, take care.

  9. I'd like to see Forsberg retire. He's too injury prone.

Sakic might have another year left in him but he should retire before he becomes Chelios Jr.

  10. Sakic will play atleast another year, maybe two.

I see Peter retiring, and thats why he went back to the Avs rather then Philly or Nashville.

  11. Forsberg is done plain and simple the mans body has taken too much over the years and he knows he cant go anymore so he is done.  Sakic on the other hand i believe has a year left in him

  12. Word has it that Sakic left the retirement decision, in a way, to the team.  If they re-sign him he'll be back for another year, if not, he's going to retire.  He said he will not play for another team.  Forsberg's situation might be a bit different.  If they don't sign him, he'll test the market, but with his recent history of injuries, he might not be offered the money he's used to getting.

  13. Peter Forsberg and Joe Sakic said that they aren't retiring and Forsberg wants an offer soon or he will go to free agency.

I'd prefer Sakic over Forsberg anyways.

  14. Sackic-stay

    Forsburg-Retire
