  1. You obviously weren't around when Kennedy was in office.  He only beat Nixon by 100,000 in the popular vote and was not as effective or well-liked as you seem to think.  Sorry, but he's not on any historian's list of great presidents.  Still, he was better than Obama could hope to be, but that Camelot nonsense is pure mythology and nostalgia.

  2. Well Reagan forgot everything

And JFK  did'nt dodge the bullet.

    Did MLK  Have a dream.

  3. Let us hope Barack in not like Kennedy. He was assassinated

  4. Neither. Despite their personal abilities. The times are not the same.

And Kennedy was a mediocre, overrated president whose friends & supporters spun a good myth.

  5. I don't mean this how it's going to sound but Obama can't be another Kennedy. Another Clinton, yes! I'm not saying that Kennedy was a good President. To say that I'd have to say Clinton was to. Eight years of wagging that finger at us and saying that he didn't have s*x with that women, Oh wait, maybe I'm wrong. Clinton had every kind of bimbo in the Whitehouse, Kennedy had every kind of bimbo in the Whitehouse. I am so sorry. Kennedy, Clinton, Obama interchangeable parts. Long live Kentonma!

  6. If you go by their ages, then that would be comparable.

  7. Obama will be Obama and that's what our country needs!!

  8. Obama will be another Carter, seems he invited him to speak on the same stage. Birds of a feather flock together, so if they flock on the same stage....

  9. Barack will be like one of the great presidents in the past.. Kennedy, Roosevelt, Lincoln, to name a few.

  10. Barack Obama has alot of similarities with JFK, he is young, bright, talented and inspirational and is often threatened by assassination from wackos which goes with the territory of really bringing change which is threatening for insecure people who fear change, even in their own sad lives.

  11. No way!  John McCain is not as conservative as Reagan by the time he was in serving, and Barack Obama is not even close to John F. Kennedy.

Obama is far more liberal than Kennedy ...."Ask not what your country can do for you.  Ask what you can do for your country!"  Obama wants the government to be the answer to problem.

  12. McCain is another Reagen except McCain wasn't a draft-dodger and astrologer

  13. No,neither one of them had to face the same crisis that happened in Reagans and Kennedys lifetimes.Although I think Obama has a better chance of getting the Kennedy treatment from a grassy knoll.

  14. Too bad  Lloyd Bentsen isn't around anymore. "I knew Jack Kennedy...Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy."

  15. It sickens me to hear people compare Obama to Kennedy. Not only is there nothing similar about the two-there is nothing similar in between Kennedy and the Democrat party of today. If John Kennedy were alive now he would be a republican.

  16. Reagan and Kennedy were absolutely outstanding leaders who spurred this country into a lot of change.  It is too soon to tell what McCain will do as President (Obama is all smoke and mirrors, he is making that perfectly clear) but I would like to believe that he will do a lot of good things to reverse what the Bush administration has done to this country.  He has proven that he doesn't kowtow.  He does what he believes in.

  17. No one can be someone else.  All they can do is try their best, and be themselves.
