How will the senior senator from Arizona ( presumed Republican Party Nominee for President ) work next year on the Immigration issues? He spoke on July 8 to a Latin American Citizens group and advocated bipartisan approaches. . .what do you predict for February and so forth in 2009?

  1. who knows who the next president will be, but thankfully neither one can pass any laws with out going through the Senate, and they will never pass these amnesty bills!!

  2. Various reports show that both Presidential hopefuls lean towards legalizing undocumented immigrants who are currently in the United States, after which focusing on border security and rewriting current immigration procedures. Polls also show that a little more than 60% of Americans are for the same (Amnesty, if you will) provided that there is some retribution (such as paying fines, learning American history/civics, and taking other steps to becoming responsible citizens).

WHAT McCain or Obama will actually do once in office is yet to be seen, however, as it is typically a game of politics to see who can get the most votes. Once in office, many politicians never do anything to make a real difference but only put forth the illusion that they are trying to bring about positive change.

So, I guess we'll all have to wait and see what happens!

  3. If the American people are really smart and lucky McCain will work on this Issue as president.

If not then he probably won't work on it at all. BHO will destroy the US if he is elected.

  4. We'll know after November, won't we?

  5. I don't think he will, either as President or Senator. The 'immigration reform card' has been shown since the 1980s, Reagan's administration. Said 'immigrants' are the now hard working portion of America's economy, and they ALWAYS WILL BE.

  6. Nobody wants to really address this issue.

They do not want to make Mexico mad.

Mexico sells us a lot of produce, bad produce, but still big $$$ in it.

Now, the other guy wants to set them all free.

  7. President

  8. Hopefully not as a President! because things will either get worse, or just remain the same.
