With the Angels winning by so many runs he has gotten very few chances for saves lately, do you think that he will get enough chances later?

  1. I am guessing that he will.  He is amazing with that fastball.

  2. I think he will do it. Even if he does Cliff Lee is my Cy Young pick.

  3. Yes, the angels offense will cool off down the stretch creating more save opportunities.

  4. I think he will break the record by at least 5 saves.

  5. He will still break it but what is the hype over the saves record. Id rather be 30 for 30 for saves then break the saves record. Cause if im 30 for 30 i know I did my job well.

  6. yah he has many more games, and the way the Angels are [playing, he will have many more opportuntinties.

  7. yup

  8. He should beat the record !!

  9. He'll pull it off I think, and just for that he'll get the Cy Young.  I agree he doesn't deserve it just because he gets more chances than another closer, and he's surely not the most dominant one.  But I think the situation will be similar to Eric Gagne's a few seasons ago and they'll just give it to him because his closest competition: Cliff Lee, is playing on a bottom 5 team standings-wise.
