Will KASPERSKY INTERNET SECURITY protect my system from all kind of threats on net?

will KIS give me protection from all threats on internet or should i go for any other product, which is best, i am confused, help me plz.

KIS is a good product but you still need some other softwares to be safe.

I mean:

1. HIPS program i.e. Defensewall or GesWall or EQSecure

2. Software to detect malwares running on-demand (once a week) i.e. SUPERAntiSpyware + Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

Thats all. No less, no more.

Kaspersky Internet Security 8 (or 2009 as it is also called) is an excellent all around program, it protects you from all the major threats and has many nice features in it. It protects every aspect of your system from malicious software and hackers.

Although KIS is very good, it is best to have a backup as no antivirus can detect everything, an -"on demand scanner". I agree with creer and would suggest both MalwareBytes Antimalware and SuperAntispyware free, use both of them to do an occasional scan.

@creer, KIS8 has HIPS and installing another HIPS program will cause conflict.
