Will Kimbo Slice make it far in MMA?

Question

After kimbos last fight where he just came out from being defeated but pulled out a ko to a mma fighter who has lost 9 of his last 8 fights does aonyone think he wll make it any further in the mma...i mean come on he barely beat the last guy how do u think he will do on his next fight against higher ranked fighters??

I don't know how some can train 1-on-1 with Bas Rutten for this long and have no ground game/no cardio. In his 30s, I see no big future for Kimbo Slice. If only all the Kimbo nuts felt the same...

Kimbo slice i believe(no offense to anyone)the perfect example how white america take a black man who sells for some time ,they make money (with fixed matches etc etc) and when he is not popular no more they destroy him and they do not give a d**n about him!everybody knows kimbo is nothing but a freak show!Nba is the second example but i will not analyse that now but think about it from 98 to 2008 usa has lost 4 major titles and they still call nba players the best in the world(ofcourse managers and white owners of nike,adidas)make mad money from not so talented players!

It's entirely up to him...he has a long way to go to become a complete fighter.  His takedown defense was ridiculous, his ground game was horrible, his cardio was a joke, and he has no speed.  You can see his punches coming before he even thinks about throwing them; just imagine him fighting one of the quick heavyweights like Vera or Arlovski...he'd get hit 5 times in the face for every one punch he throws.  His chin hasn't been tested yet either...he looks sturdy but could actually have quite a glass jaw, though I doubt that.  He could also be one of those fighters that forgets to defend leg kicks and can be chopped down like a tree after one round.  It all depends on his attitude towards training for those things...just look at Tim Sylvia...he always mentions he hates BJJ so you know he doesn't put much into training his Jiu Jitsu because that's where 3 of his 4 losses came from.  Look at Cheik Congo...he gets taken down at will.  And then take Cro Cop...they guy didn't believe training for the cage and elbows mattered...Gonzaga showed him otherwise!  So as you can see, many strikers get stubborn and don't put as much effort into training other areas, and that becomes their downfall.  I seriously believe he won't become much as I think he will be just as stubborn about only boxing out there.  Just look at what type of figher he considers himself in his introduction, "brawler" yeah that really shows how technical he is...Brett Rogers is kind of a brawler but way more technical than Kimbo...that's probably his next match so I think Rogers will embarrass Kimbo in this next match.

If MMA decays as far as it looks like it will, he will be the king.  It looks like the bar is falling ever-lower in terms of when people are allowed to fight.

So hang around, Mr. Slice and before long, you'll be the only MMA fighter who is actually trained to be in a ring.

No he will  not go far.  He is one of those guys that no matter how many times you try to drill him on bjj and wrestling he wont get it.  he has solid striking with a questionable chin and horrible stamina.  He is an old guy that is trying to make as much money as he can before his skills fade.

And he will make it far... far as a real opponent can throw him. Put his ace against Fedor, Couture, Sylvia, or even Vera. The Truth would rip him apart in 3 mins flat.
