It seems like a good fight card.

  1. No, Dana would never do a co-promotion with the Elite XC. But if they did, Kimbo would get absolutely raped, man-handled, massacred, and destroyed by Brock Lesnar. We've already seen that Kimbo is not very good at defending the take down and has very little of a ground game. Lesnar could easily take him down, than ground and pound him until he taps, gets KO'd, or the referee stops it.

Despite the WWE which isnt real at all, Lesnar was an NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Champion. So he has a genuine background, perfect for MMA. Plus, the guy is built like a tank

  2. If the fight stays standing up then Kimbo will win, because Brock cannot take a whole lot of Kimbo's punches, and he will not be able to block the punches well. If the fight goes to the ground, Brock will win. Kimbo has shown in his fight with Thompson that he does not have the cardio endurance or the expertise to handle himself well on the ground against a skilled grappler. I think Kimbo should have to face Frank Mir before he gets to fight anyone better in the UFC.  Bas Rutten is trying to protect his investment by not having Kimbo fight any talented opponents.

  3. I think I just like Cinderella stories, but I like Kimbo Slice. I think he has made progress on takedown defense and the ground game. He is primarily a street brawler and just being able to get up is a big thing. He has some kind of a takedown defense though. He did freeze up at the end of the 2nd round and had to be saved by the bell IMO. Having said that I'll say this. Everyone that thinks he is a joke would do the same thing given the same opprotunity. Who in the world is going to turn down a payday to prove a point when you have kids to feed? It's like this fight and make a little money or fight and make a lot more money. Really hard choice huh? Let Kimbo have his day. If he is a fluke it will show in his loss column. I guess most say he is lucky. That last fight I would agree, but the first 2 no. Even if they are what people would call easy wins, they were still veteran fighters. Who among us could stand with Tank Abbot even at his advanced age?

Oh, and you have to admit that Kimbo draws a crowd and anyone that draws a crowd should be paid for their drawing power.

  4. I don't think kimbo is sitting on his hands. He knows he needs cardio and ground work to regain his respect whether he wins or loses.

I believe he will put up a good fight next time out even though he might lose.

Give the Guy a Break, He's trying; his heart is bigger than his experience.

  5. It won't happen because the UFC refuses to Cross Promote but Lesnar would handle kimbo like nobody's business. He's a great wrestler and would take kimbo down and beat him via GNP.

  6. I think that Kimbo might come up short on the wrestling skills needed keep from being grounded and pounded by Lesnar.  On the flip side of the coin if Kimbo stuns Lesnar with a left, he's going to have an awfully hard time recovering while absorbing a barrage of blows that Kimbo is more than capable of delivering.

    I'll give a 7:5 edge to Brock.

  7. This fight would go one way and one way only.  Lesnar would take Kimbo down immediately, pass his guard, and pound him out.  Kimbo was taken down with ease by Thompson who is a terrible wrestler and had his guard passed as well.  If you are familiar with James Thompson, he is not known for his technique in any position.  I can't see this fight making it out of the first round, but it will probably never happen anyway.

  8. that would be nice to see depends if it takes place on the ground or standing but anything can happen in mma you never know but i think brock would win

  9. It's not a good fight card because Kimbo has no chance against Brock. Brock's bigger, stronger, and overall better. It would show everyone that Kimbo has no clue of MMA.
