  1. He should but he's something of an enigma. Last year, he started the season on blinding form... then went sleepy-time for a few races... then, just when we'd given up on him, he awoke from his slumber and took the title. So far, he's following the same pattern this year. Hope the end result is the same. With him, you just never know...

  2. I hope the latter.

Massa was erratic but also unlucky last year if you believe in luck coz I don't.

Something tells me that if he keeps performing like this his car will magically stay together this year.

I'm not implying Ferrari sabotaged him, more like their preparation wasn't optimal last year for little Felipe, but if they believe in him I'm sure they can push him to the world title.

He's so fast, I think if he can keep it together Kimi won't be able to match him this time out so it won't matter whether Kimi wakes up or not as long as Massa keeps driving like this.

  3. Well, it's hard to say but hopefully he wakes up. He's an awesome driver and he can definitely outdo Massa if he 'wakes up'.

  4. what if the Alonso/kubica rumors are more than just rumors? maybe he knows something we don't,

ok so I'm just stirring the pot again

  5. I've got a feeling Massa will outscore him... just to show that he is not necessarily a number two driver... Kimi certainly isn't leading the team both on the track and off it... Massa always seems to be more outspoken and this might be paying off finally... Plus he has really upped his game since Malaysia.. where his off was really quite embarrassing and was probably the wake-up call he needed.

Perhaps Kimi needs a moment like this too... Monaco may have done it... but we won't know till this weekend whether his careless attitude has changed any... He can't take it for granted that he will be fast everywhere, and he has to work hard to keep up with Lewis and Felipe.. who do both work very hard...

  6. To be fair I don't think he is doing too terribly. He was in a worse situation last year. Monaco, Kimi and Ferrari just aren't a great combination.

Anyway he always needs waking up before a grand prix. For his very first one at Sauber he was asleep 20 minutes before the race!

  7. he'll wake up

  8. Well if he doesn't he's going to get beaten by both Felipe and Lewis. I want him too, I always find it more exciting when the championship is close right to the end
