Will Kobe Haters ease up on Kobe a bit after he brings home the gold?

Personally, I think Kobe could cure cancer and end world hunger and it wouldn't make a l**k of difference to Kobe Haters. I think some people hate just to hate.

I bet Kobe Haters are in a major conundrum right now. Do you root for Kobe and the US Team to win gold or do you remain stubborn and keep hating on Kobe?

Ya, I find it wierd how you can hate on someone when they are representing you at the Olympics, but I guess they do that just not to be hypocrites. You really just have to put up with it, people will always hate. I don't think you should only credit Kobe for bringing home the gold. He doesn't have as much responsibility on his shoulders than Howard or maybe Chris Paul.

you said it, no matter what, there will always be kobe haters. im not one of them, i just dont like the team he plays for. in all sports, the best players will always be hated. people hate tom brady, randy moss, alex rodriguez, bonds, manny, kobe, lebron, im sure some people hate sidney crosby, im sure some people hate jeff gordon. doesnt matter what they do, no matter what, as long as you are on top, you will have haters.

It's not only Kobe on the US team and I don't think Kobe will single handily bring the US the gold. It's a team sport and they will earn that gold as a team. People will still hate Kobe no matter what happens.
