Will Kosova's declaration of independence spark another wave of violence and make everyone bat their eyes to the collapse of Yugoslavia in the 1990's? Will the intervention of international peacekeepers once again defeat its own purpose? Will vigilante warfare become an issue?

What are your opinions?

  1. It has in every other case where someone in that area of the world has declared their Independence, so why would it not now.

  2. From Serbian side not, because Serbia already told the world that it will not use military force in any scenario but will fight for its rights in every possible legal and diplomatic manner. On the other hand, Albanians threatened all the time that they will provoke violence if they do not get everything they want. In some odd way that was the reason for international community to give them an advantage concluding that if Albanians will make trouble and Serbs won't, then its better to listen to Albanians. For me that would be totally Ok if it wouldn't resemble terrorism that much, but who am i to tell!?

The region will still stay destabilized but only because Kosovo is drowned in corruption, criminal, trafficking,  drugs distribution etc and that definitely doesn't help general stability anywhere.
