I have a 94 Lumina Car, I recently bought two newer/used tires for my front wheels, and had a front wheel alignment done. Now my tires constantly squeak when turning, even when Im driving straight they squeak.

The older ones were /70's, and the newer ones are now /75's

Any answers would be appreciated.

THANK YOU

  1. dude, your tires are oversized...they are rubbing somewhere.

  2. Tires do not squeak unless they are under inflated, and then only when making a turn. Take the car back to whoever sold them and have them check the lug nuts and also the brakes. There is another possibility; The larger tires may be rubbing some part of the car.

  3. no they should not squeek... the only thing you need to check is the taller tire is not hitting the  tie-rod end when you turn or the spring perch on the strut. if its not hitting anywhere.. and you dont see a "rub-mark" on anything, your wheels are not tight ... there is nothing else that would cause them to squeek..
