After finishing with four wins from six matches and top of Pool Six, Leinster look more than capable of at least reaching the semi-finals of this year’s European Cup.
However, they will have to beat Clermont to advance to that stage, and then beat either Toulouse or Stade Francais for a place in the Paris final. Interestingly enough, though, Leinster entered the quarters with two more points than they did in their triumphant 2008/09 campaign. It’ll be a huge ask, but the Irish club cannot be ruled out of contention.
