He looked like he was being forced to be there last night.  They held hands but it wasn't a strong hand holding...it was her kind of holding his fingers while he looked everywhere other than at his "bride to be".  Makes you wonder if they dragged him down there to put on a show for the public.

I've been wondering about what kind of parent would force their young child into marriage. Marriage is much work. At 17 it is hard to grasp this. Let alone all it takes to be an effective parent.

I don't think so. I did look like he was forced to be at the convention. I guess he was "pitbullied" into being there. Poor thing.

If they force him to marry her they both will be miserable.

No. You can tell alot by body language. He didnt look happy and his actions looked scripted. I wouldnt put it past Palin and Mccain to have paid the family of the boy. That boy had no intent on marrying Bristol. This was set up by Palin and Mccan to ease off shame and hyprocrisy of values.

This is a good question. If they're actually in love, they may have a shot at having a successful marriage. If they're not, then their getting married would probably spell disaster.

I think he will but the only thing about Bristol's preganacy at a young age compared to the average American is, her mother is a high paid governor  whereas most single young teenage mothers don't have the neccessary resources & she  will provide the best for her new grandchild & if Levi loves her & I think he does, he will be happy

I think it will be difficult at first, especially with everyone in their business.   But happiness is totally possible even at a young age.
