Will M.A.C make-up brushes last for years?

I'm planning on buying a whole set of make-up brushes from MAC soon and was wondering if they last a long time because they're really expensive and just hope it's worth it

It depends on how you take care of them.  Also, I wouldn't recommend buying a brush set.  They are cheaper quality than the individual brushes.  You must remember to clean them regularly, at least 2 a week.  If you are good to them they will be good to you!

I bought an eye liner brush and after about 2 months all the hairs spread out and it became useless.

Yes, they will last long if you keep very good care of them. Ask the lady at you MAC counter exactly how you should clean them :)

They are wonderful brushes :)
