Will MANKIND successfully locate and move to a new "habitable planet?"?

With all of the exploring that human beings are doing, I would wonder what would happen if we found such a scenario. There are surely many planets that are "suitable." It's just a matter of finding one that offers the "exchange" that humans can tolerate.

  1. i bet we (mankind) will end up killing ourselves off long before we can do that.  it would be cool though

  2. Let's hope not. We can't seem to take care of the one we have.

  3. Many a science fiction writer seems to think we'll all move some day.

  4. What an destroy that too.

  5. No I think not, as the inhabitable ones are  all too many light years away.

  6. The master plan at NASA, is to colonize Mars, within the next 500 years...

  7. Not during your lifetime

  8. I certainly hope so.  We have a long way to go.  Mars will obviously be our first go at colonizing another planet.  Undoubtably Mars will require some teraforming & adapting to colonize it.

Unless humans colonize further worlds, we are doomed to obscurity & frustration for having failed to live up to our potential.

  9. Thats the last thing the universe needs.Humans spreading throughout space

  10. Yes. Since we have teh gravitatious spunk tat comes with teh hyuman espritu.

  11. That won't be necessary. And if it is necessary, technology on that certain time of need to move to a different planet must be advance enough. So we humans shouldn't concentrate on moving to another planet since the possibilities of that to happen have more risks; we should concentrate on our planet, we should take care of Earth because the possibilities of success is a lot more. But many people do not realize that.
