I don't think he will get booed because of his 2 WS and you cannot use the Damon argument because:  

1. The Red Sox tried to re-sign Damon but he left for more $$$

2. Damon left for the New York Yankees

No, Boston fans will remember that Manny helped the Sox win (2) World Series. Manny problem was not with the fans but with the Sox Management!

After seeing all the Manny f***y kissers on here it will probably be more cheers than jeers for him. I just can't believe how so many so-called Boston fans still make excuses for him. I know of some who actually love their team and are happy to see Manny go, forget his bat that's irrelevant because he was affecting the entire team. It's like the 24 other players don't matter at all to some people.
