Will Mark Gasnier defect to Rugby Union?

I believe Mark Gasnier will not defect to rugby.  I think he is using the interest from the other code to his advantage for obvious reasons.

But then again he may well swap codes as he has achieved almost all he can in rugby league....

He will take the cash while he can...NRL cant afford to lose him but dont want to spend any to keep him...he has to set himself up for life after footy...and if he does go..he should still be picked for rep footy!!  The fans deserve to see him in rep footy at least once more...it should be picked on form not on where he will be next season

I feel a bit sorry for league players. They are torn between playing the code they love and which has given them their break, and the fact that union is able to offer such lucrative deals.

I think he will probably go to union - I know I would if I were in his shoes.
