From what I have seen it is pretty close between his supporters and those who want him to resign.

How do you see the outcome of todays hearing?

  1. Yes .. but that will be a shame on F1 forever. This isn't a "keep it in your pants" issue , The man made a mockery of an event that has scarred the world for 50+ years, and filmed it for 5 hours. His actions were Illegal, Immoral, and hurtful to a large portion of society. Not a good public example for F1at all.

He should go by the way of his old pal Adolf...Hey Max... It's Bunker time baby and feel free to take a couple of those s****s and a camera with you.

  2. I don't really like the guy but what he does in his personal life is nothing to do with anyone but him. He is not the first and he won't be the last  man in high authority to be into kinky things. I think he will be gone because they want to shake things up in the FIA...I think the dogs will bite the hands tha fed them.

  3. He won the vote of confidence. It was 103-55, something like that. he stays on as FIA president. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. I wonder if he will stand for the next term of presidency. Or is this his last?

  4. I hope so.  All his previous allies who have now gone against him are all such hypocrites. Like none of them have ever paid for s*x or cheated on their wives. I bet if someone sent investigators after them they'd find all sorts of ****.

    Edit:

I just read he survived the vote 103 to 55! What a relief!  I wonder how he will celebrate this victory...

  5. He shouldn't, at any rate.

  6. We can but hope that common sense will prevail and they leave him in place until 2009. However it's going to be close, and the emergence of Gerhard Berger as a realistic candidate for the job won't help Max's chances - while Jean Todt was the likely replacement then there was an extra incentive to keep Max in place.

EDIT and CNN just reported (11h45 BST) that he's won the vote of confidence...thank heavens for that.

  7. I think and hope he goes. He has bought shame on the sport and should have already done the honourable thing and resigned.

  8. I'd like to see him stay, but fear the damage has been done. Having said that, the constant vitriol spewed by Jackie Stewart could well backfire and help cement his position.

Ha, maybe Jackie has something to hide also?

  9. Yes, Max Mosley is an intelligent guy despite his dealings. He would not have called a vote of confidence if he was not very certain of winning.
