  1. Even if he is just as good as Bush, we are in a lot of trouble.  A recent survey showed that 81% of Americans said that this country was on the wrong track.  the worst rating in nearly 20 years.  A vote for McCain keeps us on that wrong track.

Since McCain has adhered to Bush's policies by joining in the Republican Congress and more recently, as well, in voting for Bush's failed policies almost 95% of the time, we can expect to be on the same deplorable course as the current administration.  McCain has flip-flopped on every issue from immigration to the war to tax cuts, and he has openly admitted that he knows little about economic issues.  We would be headed deeper into the dark abyss created by G.W. Bush, and future generations will wonder how we could have allowed this to occur in (what once was) the greatest nation on earth.

  6. No, but Obama certainly would.  

    - cut and run

    - proposed spending 40x greater then McCain (according to federal spending watchdog groups)

    -  foreign policy amateur - sure to start WW III

    -  divider along race lines

    -  increased taxes to cover the wanton spending

    -  beholding to rich special interest groups

    -  cannot be trusted; general lack of character and carries a chip on his shoulder

    -  Racist

    -  Uses only old, rehashed ideas that already failed once

    McCain has his own set of problems but none so terrible as the above and is the real change candidate with his long term maverick history and opposition to President Bush.

    And you people who blame the President for everything--how about taking some responsibility yourself?  Who took out loans and never paid for them?  Who thinks the gov't should subsidize your illegitimate children?  Do you realize that the Democratic Congress makes and messes up a LOT that event he President can't stop but for some reason THEY get no blame at all.  Grow up and look at the whole picture and problem before blaming the scapegoat.  THe presidents major job is to deal with FOREIGN POLICY not with domestic affairs--that is Congresses job and THEY screwed up.

  13. About the same but a little better.  McCain shares most of Bushes policies except he doesn't seem to want to alter information relating to global warming.

  15. Yes a lot worse if that is possible. McCain was a POW for five years and was tortured. He is ate up with PTSD and with the stress of being President there's no telling what he might do. Do you want a guy like him with his finger on the button that could destroy us all.
