  1. It's always possible.  But he's a pretty tough customer, so I wouldn't expect it.

  2. His mother is 92 and going strong.............

    Undecided - Independent

  3. Will you?

Excuse me while I consult my crystal ball.

  4. Even though I will not vote for him, I do not wish that upon him.

  5. Not with the health care that the congress has. Do you really think d**k Cheney would still be around if he didn't have the health care that he as access to?

If you want to talk about people dieing in office, both of Obama parents are dead and he is pretty close to their ages? Also African Americans are more likely to die from Heart attacks then most whites. The life expectancy is also about 10 years shorter.

  6. I think Palin is putting a lot of strain on McCain  with all the negative reporting of her it could be bad for this 72 year old man  health .

    OBAMA/BIDEN  2008

  7. That is a very bizarre question.  Anyone could die at anytime.

  8. Most likely not.

  9. If genetics have anything to do with it, his mother is 96, sharp as a tack, still travels around the world, and is at the convention this week.  She looks younger than Barbara Bush.  I saw her in an interview a few months ago, and her sense of humor is great.  If he inherited that, he will live another 25 years at least.  Then again, he could get run over by a bus tomorrow.  Nobody knows their fate.

  10. The same chance the o will die during his....

What a thing to ask, are you wishing this?

  11. Thats the bet bookmakers should be making !!!

    Chances are YES

the average age of males at death in the USA = 76

so if he were to be elected by the fooled populace, averages say he'd most likely die in first term

  12. He's only a 72 year old multiple cancer survivor who's body has taken the added stress, punishment, and malnurishment of being in a P.O.W. camp for 5 years and will be the oldest ever elected 1st term president in U.S history.  Fit as a fiddle!

  13. Likely not, but you can never say never.

His mother is a healthy 92 year old, and if he is anything like her, he'll live a long, healthy life.

However, if his father died from a heart attack in his 60's, so there's always that to consider, too.

Now, his mother could be a special circumstance in her family, or maybe McCain's father died early for his family.  We'll never really know.

I do not plan on voting for McCain, but hopefully he's inherited his mother's genetic traits, and lives a long, healthy life.

  14. IF big IF he's elected... I don't know. I don't like to think about people dying.

    But, it's a possibility.

  15. I agree with rwellz03, For a man who has been through it all... he is fit as a fiddle!

  16. I don't care if his mother is 96--he's 72 and has already had 4 bouts of melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer.  Chances are good we'd have a hockey mom with less than 2 years of experience running a state with a population the size of Austin, TX as president if he wins.

  17. No one can answer that question. But have to say my wife pointed out that if he were to get two terms that by the end of the second he would be 80. Which is not old by today's standards of life expectancy but still is old in the scheme of things. Meaning that his odds of living through two terms is less then someone much younger. Wife's point was that his choice of vp could very well be the next president based on statistical death related to old age.

  18. Only 3 Presidents have died of natural causes. Last one back in the 1920's before the discovery of penicillin.

The US had 2 die of food poisoning and 1 die of pneumonia.

I don't see that happening in modern times.

McCain will be able to serve 8 years without a problem.

  19. My crystal ball is in the shop so who knows, you could ask the same thing about Obama...Obama is a smoker and cancer runs in his family and he has submitted a one page medical report so he must be hiding something to do with his health. McCain is fine and every doctor that has even examined him have agreed there is no reason to think he can't serve a full term.

  20. There's always a chance, but it could happen to a younger President...  I did read a site where Nostradamus is interpreted, and they suggest McCain won't even make the elections due to illness. Í don't believe Nostradamus interpretations however, so I think he'll be OK.
