Take credit How???? US & Bush literally have no influence of Russia or Europe. The retaliation from Russia was a clear message to US. The deal was actually brokered by French President Sarkozy. You  have to be on mars to not know all this.

Probably. The truth is, the Russians are laughing at them. The US tried to trick Russia into an all out war, and they failed. Russia accomplished what it set out to do, which was to stop the Georgians from committing an all out genocide against the Ossetians. The American AND Israeli role in this disaster is slowly being exposed.
