“I think both of them (McCain and Obama) are equally unable to cope with the threat represented by Osama bin Laden, al Qaeda, and the Islamists. They really don’t have a clue about what this war is about. Mr. McCain is very confident, but he’s clueless. Mr. Obama is equally clueless. They continue to tell Americans these people are Islamo-fascists, and they hate us because of our freedoms and they hate us for our liberties.

What they hate us for is the unusually virulent strain of obsessive compulsive disorder that’s present in the American governing class, and that’s called interventionism. That’s what the cause of this war is. And neither Mr. McCain, nor Mr. Obama, nor Mrs. Clinton, nor any of the rest of them who are in the campaign—except Mr. Paul, Mr. Kucinich perhaps—had that idea.” - Michael Scheur, former head of the CIA's Osama Bin Laden Unit

Or neither of them?

  1. Obama would do better in foreign polices because the international community likes reasonable smart leaders and Europe and South America and Asia will listen to Obama.

  2. With our friends, Obama is the better choice.

With our enemies, McCain is the better choice.

I'd rather take the right approach with our enemies and do slightly less well with relation to our friends than the other way around.

  3. Obama

  4. that depends on the men behind the curtain

    they make the decisions

    not the president

osama has been dead for years

    the cia made al qaeda

all linked up and on a whole different agenda

    than what most think

    or see

  5. It is quite bizzare that we can pretend to not know what OBL is about after initially helping him - ridding the Persian Gulf area of super-power neo-colonial control.

  6. Tell me who is not clueless in this situation. There is no good solution. Does not matter who is going to be the president the question of war, terrorism, defense system will be very difficult to solve (if ever). Every participating party have their own very good reason to create war, stay in war, kill, terrorize people, countries. I wish things would be black and white but they are not. There always be cultures who hate America and others. There is a terrible gap between belief system, the way of life, between history, individual behavior etc. A few years of presidency of anyone won't make a dent. Years of education (on all sides), years of negotiation, years of open communication is needed.

    Obama would be my choice.

  7. McCain has more experience in that area but is too pro-war

  8. U should do some extensive research on both of their backgrounds and beliefs. Asking random ppl on the internet something as important as this probably won't get u any real answers that isn't a product of their political preference or bias relating to their chosen candidate's support, opposition, or opinion of some other completely different issue.

It is a great question though. I'm currently still doing my own reseach on both candidates on many issues, this being one of them and I'm currently leaning toward Mccain (and I'm a democrat) on this one but u need to form ur own conclusions from the FACTS and not just other ppl's opinions.

  9. We in Qatar all have two wives or more, and many camels. Lets hope that John McCain becomes your next President, my dear American friends, and you will see for yourself.John McCain will have many Muslim people working in white house.

"I’m proud of the Muslims who are currently serving in the United States armed forces." "And my sense is that if they can serve in that manner, they can serve in any position of responsibility in America."

    John McCain.

    Stand with Muslims vote McCain.

    You are finished.

  10. The world see's bush as a clown operated by the oil tycoons,McCain will be no different, greed is associated with the republicans as far as most europeans are concerned.Obama is your best bet I reckon,as I have said previousley,America is seen as the playground bully at times, the Iraq war was about oil, power and wealth and had nothing to do with terrorism...vote in Obama and the world will breath easier, vote in McCain and you will have to wear the big shoes and red nose that the clowns usually wear at the circus..again...

  11. I would say Mccain will be another Bush....a hated man
