  1. who cares

  2. Think how Lindsay Graham and Joe Lieberman interact with him.  I expect his VP to function in the same capacity.  I think that circumstance rules out Romney who appears to be on McCain's sh*t list rather than his short list.

  3. He will pick d**k Cheney. Cheney has lots of experience and is plenty mean.

  4. mccain is owned; he'll choose who he's told.  but, a woman?  that would certainly be a challenge.  he'd probably fight them on that.

i wonder what d**k cheney thinks of that line?  some here agree, but d**k has shown us differently.

  5. If you're a strong leader, that's all the VP has to do. Unlike Obama who chose Biden to fill gaping holes in his own ability.

  6. Hopefully he'll pick Condoleezza Rice, one of the few likeable (imo) Republicans.

Also it would amuse the h**l out of me to see her as president due to the very real chance that McCain would kick the bucket before he could see out his term. How would the intolerant, bigoted masses that follow the Republican party cope with a Black female leading their country?

  7. He'll choose a young woman.

    And he will lose.

  8. i think every president picks a yes man.that is why they are the nominee and they are the vp. but i hope that whoever he gets that it is always discussed.input is vital, but that is why they have a cabinet to.i hope it is a woman!

  9. Would YOU pick a Veep who "challenged" you?

  10. Hillary; man or women, you decide.

  11. He'll pick Romney.

And he's right about the duties of the VP.  Look into it, a politician has more political power as a Senator than as Veep.

  12. He will pick a yes man.

    He's already challenged enough.

  13. I think he might get crafty and select a woman as his running mate, maybe even Ms. Rice as his VP.  This would secure the women voters to his side and a majority of the black voters as well, besides that she has proven her worth as a qualified diplomat and has many foreign connections that she has made as Bush's envoy, something that President McCain could use to his advantage.

Its going to be interesting to see just who McCain does select for his running mate, but I am sure whoever he decides to select, will be qualified for the position.

  14. I'm just worried that by the time the RNC convention rolls around, he will already have forgotten who he chose.

  15. He will probably do the same thing that Barack did, pick the one that he believes is the safest and will bring in the most votes.  The President is in charge and the VP follows orders.  That's the way our system works.
