Question:

Will Melbourne beat Richmond today?

If Melbourne win by more than 28 points they avoid the wooden spoon (and the first pick). Do you think they will give it there all to avoid the spoon?

With the First pick in the draft it is expected that Melbourne want Jack Watts (VIC) and West Coast would want Nanitoui (WA) or there is one other good player from WA (I can't think of his name). So it probably doesn't matter where they finish....

The Melbourne coach Dean Bailey has made it clear he wants youth but also wants to avoid the spoon....

I think Melbourne just might win...

  1. Melbourne was robbed by the refs,  they hate us, thats the only reason the tigers won.     the best team lost today, 80 points, it was given to the tiger mans by the refs.

  2. I don't think it really matters in terms of draft picks as Melbourne will probably take Watts and West Coast will take Rich/NicNat no matter what order the picks are in.

Melbourne would clearly want to avoid the wooden spoon, but I don't think they'll be able to beat Richmond, you can only play on emotion so much, Melbourne just don't have the skill.

  3. no

    tigers by about 70

  4. Good old Richmond. Today is the day of their swansong. 'Bye Tigers - into mothballs. But they'll probably do enough to keep the fans happy until next year and further humiliation. Richo for coach.

  6. I'm tipping Melbourne to win.

The Tigers are playing like a mob of

tossers. Coached by a tosser as well.

  10. **I could see Melbourne winning and I really think that it'd be great for them.  Whenever I've watched Melbourne I've actually thought that they are giving it a go and aren't enjoying losing - I don't see them as a team that has been going out there to lose so they could get good draft picks.

All the best to Melbourne today.  There's been a few upsets this weekend so why not just one more.**

  11. I hope not or its the wooden spoon for us stuff the draft pick.
