Will Michael Phelps be hounded by paparazzis?

Michael Phelps isn't compared to major celebrities in the world. So, will he be hounded by paparazzis?

Let's see here - young, buff, s**y .... hm ... I don't know if he'll be hounded, but the press will definitely be interested in things about him like whether he's dating (general euphemism for "having s*x with") someone or if he gets married or has a kid or gets in trouble with the law -  general things like that.  Paparazzi are interested in taking photos, so unless the handsome Mr Phelps does something newsworthy the interest is taking pics of him will wane after his fame dies down a bit, sort of like Lance Armstrong.  Mr Phelps is already making a name for himself as a model for swimsuits and men's underwear.

The paparazzis won't care about michael phelps after the olympics is over.  Even if he wins all the gold medals he can nobody in America cares about swimming as a sport and therefore nobody is going to spend their time taking pictures of somebody that most of America doesn't know who he is.

They're in China, I wonder what the paparazzi is like there... I don't think he will be to badly hounded by them.
