Will Michael Phelps take part in the 2012 Olympics?

and other swimmers like Ryan Lochte,Aaron Piersol,Eamon Sullivan etc..will they take part in the London Olympics? But they will be 27 by then..is it a bit too old lol

  3. Phelps has pretty much confirmed he will.

    As for the others you know, it's hard to say because other swimmers can easily come along and beat them in the Olympic trials and take their spots on the team, so you never know.  

  4. if a 40+ year old can swim this year then I don't think 27 is too old. I hope to see them take part in 2012. =)

  5. well of course Michael Phelps will take part, he is on fire!! but along side, Ryan Lochte and Aaron Piersol will too, my guess.

    in the sport of swimming, i don't really think that 27 is that old, as long as the swimmer isn't participating in sprinting dashes. for example, dara torres is like 41, but still puts the pedal to the medal, or in this case, the flipper to the water, LOL hahaha!!!

    ANYWAY, i love love love michael phelps! and sure hope everything goes well enough for him in 2012!!!
