  1. Without a doubt he will play.  The Giants are 12 million under the slary cap.  Strahan loves the limelight, he can come back and truly have a 'winner's lap' year.  Plus he'll get a lot of the media circus thats on Brett Favre turned onto him..it will feed his ego.  He loves the giants...I assume he will play.  Fox will wait another year.

  2. Strahan should definitely come out of retirement. He should have never gone into retirement, because he lost a lot of money when he got divorced. The people of New York would love it if Strahan came back.

  3. I think he'll end up coming back in the next week or so...

  4. No because he is now under contract with a tv station and has moved on into his tv career

  5. save your dreams for at night

  6. us new yorkers can only pray bro....if strahan doesnt come out..then justin tuck, mathias kiwanuka and fred robins are gonna have to step up..BIGGGG TIMEE...but im prayin bro that strahan comes bacc..atleest for a 8mill 1 year contract...come onn thats not bad at all

  7. Isn't he under contract to one of the networks?

  8. According to ESPN, it looks like the Giants might be leaning that way. Whenever coaches and team execs say things like "all options are on the table", it usually means the offer has already been made.

Honestly, it'd be a better fit for the Giants to lure Strahan back than to move Kiwanuka. The problem with Kiwanuka is that he's spent the last year and a half learning how to become a linebacker. Now you're going to toss him back on the D-line again? Defensive players aren't yo-yo's. Strahan knows the system, knows the personnel, and can come in and be ready quickly (he demonstrated that last season). If the Giants can give him the money, they should make the deal.

  9. yea and warren sapp will come back to plays some nose

  10. He won't but I have to say that Osi was the Giants' 3rd best d-end last year after Strahan and Tuck (although he was a backup).

  11. Reportedly Strahan wants 8 million is he returns. He is under a 3 million dollar contract to be an analyst for the pregame shows. If the Giants would be willing to pay it, I think he would do it. (He did miss all of last years camp and preseason). But I just don't think the Giants will be willing to pay that much.

More then likely they will drop Kiwanuka back to DE. He was the original replacement for Strahan when he was drafted and an All American DE in college. Plus the fact that he has been training as a LB has made him faster so he may even fit in as that fast finesse DE that Osi had become.

  12. No. Just, no way.

  13. I like that one. He should. It would be cool. but probably not....sorry

  14. No.  Reasons being:

1.) Strahan is pulling a Jerome Bettis.  He wants to leave while he's on top (Super Bowl Champion).

2.)  He a sports analyst on the premier Sunday pregame show on FOX.  Jobs like does not pop up.  He's getting paid well, not getting hit, and is going to do something he likes (Strahan has ALWAYS wanted to have a career in sports analysis).

3.)  He enjoys retirement.  He isn't hankering to play like Favre did.  He's been contemplating this for a while, and this was really the perfect moment for him to stop playing.
