I've been told that MSN will no longer support Windows XP only Vista?

  2. Think thats wrong (hope it is - it's horrific if true).

    They only want to distribute oem XP on new mini low powered laptops to try to mess with the developing linux market  but haven't heard about this MSN thing

  3. Whoever told you has no idea what they're talking about.They are going to support it until 2014.

  4. Maybe in for personal use yes, but for pro I don’t think so. It will be a long time before they stop distributing xp pro for a majority of companies. Microsoft is trying to sell their new product by rumoring that they are discontinuing the xp version for personal use so people get this idea that vista is the only way to go. But that’s not true. There are also other operating systems you can get instead of vista or Macintosh. I hear that fedora 9 will beat Macintosh and Microsoft not only for better quality but also because it an open source system which means you can modify its graphical user interface “GUI”. But as far as I know, it's going to take a while before the world adapts to Vista.
