I currently am only a Sirius Subscriber and share holder. When I called Sirius I was told that I would NOT need to buy a new radio to be able to get all of the Sirius and XM Channels. But now I keep hearing that you will need to buy a new player which will not be avaible for several months. I am not interested in picking and choose my channels I just want all the channels from both Sirius and XM. So do I need to buy a new radio and what will the price be if all the channels of both Sirius and XM.

  1. Now that the deal is done, the story is changing. I'm hearing there isn't enough bandwidth to handle both on each, so, though there'll be lame attempts, the only sure answer is the dual band receiver the FCC made part of the deal. Give it 6-12 months before the dust settles.

  2. I have XM and I was told we would get all the same stations, but would have to pay for premium Sirius stations like Howard Stern, So I am assuming that you will get all the same stations, but the best thing you can do is call the 1-800 # and ask customer service, they should know more about it.
