How would I make it possible to sail the boat with other people using different freq?

If your in the water with other boats  

Its courtesy to ask  what channel they are using  

and you can alter  your freq  to suit

yes it can and will run fine, just see if other operators are using the same type of frequency 1st by asking them politely that way you don't have any issues or sinkage ;)
