Will My snails eat the plants i put in the tank>?

i just bought some seed to gropw in my water and i want to know if my snails will eat the plant.

Nearly all snails will eat plants if given the chance, and soft-leaved bulbs (seeds) are a perfect snack.  Malaysian Trumpet Snails ( http://www.planetinverts.com/malaysian_t... ) and Nerite Snails ( http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3241/2306... ) are the two most common, plant-safe snails.  Mystery/Apple Snails, Pond Snails, Ramshorn Snails, and most others will tear right through them.

seed? you mean bulbs? I never heard o seed.

But yes, after the plants grow the snails will eat them all.

There are only a few plants that snails wont eat.

Unfortunately I dont have a list of them on me.

What types of snails?  Some will eat certain plants, others won't touch them.

And, what kind of seeds are growing?  Never heard of seeds for a tank, but hey, what do I know lol.....
