Will NASCAR be a better place when Dale Jr retires?

No more beer on the track...no more trash talking other people for liking a driver, and maybe more fans who respect the sport and dont just like it because of 1 driver. Maybe those 'fans' would go away if Jr retired. The popularity will build back up over time with better fans who like the sport and not just a single driver that makes them hate all others.

Ok I am not even a Jr fan, but I have to say that this is ridiculous. Look how many Jr fans are in the seats at every race. Right now, like it or not, he is the face of NASCAR.  If those JR fans go away, NASCAR in my opinion, would not be nearly as popular, especialy right now becuase there is no one waiting in the wings. Some people say that Joey Logano is the one wating in the wings but I whole heartedly disagree with that. He will have a fan base, but not nearly to the extent that Jr does.

No...he is great for the sport, has tons of fans...But I hate to tell you this but theres Jeffrey Earnhardt coming up so, there will be a Earnhardt around for a while.. I have a feeling Dale Jr will be around till he is in his 40's.. Also I know a lot of fans who are fans of other drivers that drink beer as well.. Dale Jr fans are Nascar fans, so when he retires they'll still be here, sorry to break all the bad news to ya....How many weeks till school starts and troll season ends.. Junior's fans puzzle me though, they seem to want Junior to drive like his daddy (reckless with complete disregard for the safety of anyone, including himself), but Junior knows his daddy is burning in h**l for all eternity for the way he raced and lived. those three along with Jr. are the four biggest stars in the sport. So picture how the stands would look if all four of them retired at the same time. you would almost no one in the stands. so woudl be better if Jr retires. from a business point of view: No. Jr. would retire and take the fans with them but there are alot of Richard Petty fans still go to the races also. So it is give and take kind of thing. Will the sport be hurting?  Would the sport be better? only if they have some young guys in the next couple of years coming up and set the world on fire.
