  1. That plan would be flawless except for those jerks at espn showing the whole thing on that little box called the tv. What good would it do for them to tell them to be quiet? It would be as good a secret as Martin driving the 5 car. It's out there and nothing can change it.

  2. Well by the post race interviews they have already realized that "Back to the basics" and "Letting the drivers show their emotion" basically means keep their mouths shut about problems and say good things about the people that cause them!

I want to praise NASCAR for such a great race... NOT!!!

  3. The fans already know.. and are pretty ticked.. so.. yeah.

  4. I think they were told in advance..............everyone was very politically correct during the race!

  5. There's no reason to try to put the genie back in the bottle. The whole world could see for themselves the tire failures at Indy!

  6. Nascar has changes so much. They want drivers to keep quiet about everything now. It is just no fun anymore. Drivers should be able to speak their opinions about anything without being worried that they are going to get called to the nascar haller for a talk.

But yeah nascar probably told the drivers to keep quiet before the race even started cause i didn't hear a lot of complaining.

  7. Yes, I believe they will call them back into the hauler and tell them to Hush Up orr Else, "You'll lose your job".  They believe this COT is something special.  I Love the SAFTEY but this car stinks at racin!!  I know GoodYear part to blame for this terrible race but NASCAR is truly at fault for not inspecting the tires themselves and testing more with the COT at different tracks.  This whatn't even a race.  Tire blow outs and racers racin for championships and to crack the Top 12 to make the Chase.  I don't they they will ever listen to all the problems about the COT.  They don't want to hear it!  I think they should do the Indy 500 over.

  8. I think most of them already know not to be too vocal about anything in Nascar. The officials will call them in and give them the old....."your lucky to even be here, & nascar is bigger than you'll ever be" speech.

  9. probably they will mention it at the Pocono's drivers meeting.

  10. lol, they already did.  That was the first thing they made sure to tell them.

  11. NASCAR is not what it used to be. Now days they want to keep everything hush hush, and don't want to take blame for their s***w ups.

  12. They will try to tell some to button up but over 30 million peeps saw what happened, so it's a mute point as of now!

And NO, Nascar will not listen unless it fills their pockets will dollar bills!

    Just my opinion..Great Question, thanks!

  13. Ya steven98 hit the nail on the head.  They've already been prepped as to what to say.  That's why every driver was singing the same song during their interviews.  Off week last week, Indy, now pocono.  When will the good racing return?
