Will NHRA lose a lot of fans due to the new 1,000 ft rule change?

  1. I wouldn't think so. It may affect tv viewers for a small ammount of time but its still the same to watch.

    Why change it from 1320 ft is an odd desicion, at it will no longer be a true quarter mile.


  2. There are lot more stupid rules NASCAR has than this that is causing fans to exit

  3. No not at all, safety is first and I think that all the true fans will understand this untill they find a safer way to shut down the cars !!!

  4. They might but it would be stupid because as of right now it is just a tempory decision till they find out some safety feature for the cars. The last thing NHRA is going to do is limit the horsepower on the top fuel classes to where you would really be able to notice, so everyone needs to quit worrying about that. They will find a way to auto deploy the shoots and stop the car if the driver goes unconcious. There are so many brilliant good ideas that they have that have nothing to do with limiting horsepower or shortening the track. So they might lose some fans but not many.
