Will Nadal and Federer face off against each other in the olympics

Who gets gold and who gets silver?

It would seem suitable being their friendly rivalry and with all the major finals these 2 have played to play in the Gold Medal Final. However, with Roger having an "off" season and a bit vulnerable, and the hard courts, not as easy for Nadal, despite his recent success, and has to play harder on the surface, there could be upsets in the making on the way to The Gold. After all it is The Olympics, and anything is possible. If Massu and Fish could get to the final in Athens, well, enough said.

I am sure though that most would like to see a final again with Fed vs Rafa.  If they do face each other, I think The Gold will go to Fed. This will be his one big win this year, for I predicted at seasons start that he would go slamless. Though with the upcoming US Open, you just dont know.

Well...Roger played well yesterday. He won comfortably 6-4 6-2. I thought he was going to lose to Tursunov. I'm a Federer fan, but I guess my guy proved me wrong. If he can continue to elevate more play and win more matches under his belt to get a little more confidence, maybe they'll square off sunday. Nadal knows that if he wants to be a guaranteed a medal in the final is that he has to play better starting from today b/c he'll have to elevate and improve even more later on with other bigger guys, which I think he can. If they get to the final, Nadal will win the gold and Federer the silver. I'm an unbiast Roger fan.

I don't think Federer will even get to the finals. If he does he will be taken out by either Djokovic or Nadal - and you can take that to the bank.

If they both keep winning, yes in the finals they will meet. My hopes are Federer for Gold and Nadal for Silver.
