If he treads carefully and allows natural progression of skills and discipline in the game to flourish there is no doubt Nani will be comparable to Ronaldo.

Nani already has so many of Ronaldo's attributes. Ronaldo's just a few more years ahead of Nani in terms of maturity and skill. Nani really reminds me of a younger Ronaldo - from his first few years at the club.

However, I think that Nani is a better crosser of the ball than Ronaldo is already and more of a natural winger than Ronaldo so that's one plus.

... With Ronaldo out injured for the first few months, it could well be Nani's perfect opportunity to make a name for himself.

definitely not this season but in a few years maybe he will be as good, people seem to forget that Ronaldo has been with us for 5 years and its only really been the last 2 seasons that he has been getting all this praise, remember it used to always be "he's only got one trick and has no end product" which was true but with Sir Alex's guidance he has become one of the, if not the best player in the world!

It just seemed to me that Nani last season was trying to out do Ronaldo with the tricks and was maybe trying to hard, hopefully Sir Alex has had a word with him and now he will keep his head down and concentrate on improing his own game!

No, Nani is only just developing into being a quality player for Manchester United. Ronaldo came good after a couple of seasons, just give Nani a bit of time to fit in.

Well Nani had much more impact in his first season at Man Utd than Ronaldo had in his first season, but he's also 2years older. If he's given his chances he has the ability, he just needs to be less selfish and work on his on- field decision making...
