  1. Yes, I expect he will make better use of diplomacy and exhaust all efforts to resolve conflict before ringing up the military.

So if "better" means not using them unless all other options have been tried, then the answer is YES!

  2. It depends on what you think "better" is. If "better" means the conflicts we are currently in will be ended sooner and Marines will come home, then probably. If "better" means better benefits for Marine families, more funding for Marine programs and bases, and better support of Marines in general, then probably not.

  3. Erudite is lying again, what a shock!

  4. I seriously doubt they are wearing Obama pins regardless of their political opinion.  It is unauthorized and they would face UCMJ action for being out of uniform.

  5. Um yeah, Selfridge is an Air National Guard base, not a whole lot of Marines are stationed there.

  6. I agree with the Marines, Go Marines at Selfridge Air Base.

  7. Didn't you hear? Those were all of Hollywood's left wing actors.

There may be a hand full of them in the military but I can promise you this they are the ones who joined for school bennies and ended up in combat. I would say 90% of the military is conservative for the simple fact republicans are the only ones who take care of us. Obama voted against armor for our troops, most democrats voted against the raises Bush put forth. Obama would destroy the military and whenever the democrats run the media always talks about the left having to worry about the military vote as it has always been pro republican. The other thing I find strange about this is that promoting a political agenda while in uniform is against the UCMJ. You cannot wear your Obama buttons on base in uniform so until I see this I would seriously question the source. Political bumperstickers are against UCMJ policy as well even if it happens to talk good about whoever is on office.

  8. This is one of your less trolly questions IMO. Your facts are wrong, but the point you bring up is discussable.

If Obama can live up to his charisma (or if he has great sense for picking people for his cabinet), then even if things aren't totally fixed, Americans will regain some faith in the government.

  9. if by better you mean won't leave them in iraq to die than yes
