Will Obama ever admit he was WRONG about the Iraq troop surge??

Obama said it wouldn't work. Well guess what....it did and it has been proven! Is this a sign that Obama does NOT know how to handle the Iraq War situation?? Would Obama make it worse?

Will he ever admit he was wrong?  Probably not.  Politicians generally don't admit to anything that won't give them a political advantage and being wrong is something that he and any other politician would want America to forget.

Is it a sign that Obama does not know how to handle the war?  Not necessarily.  It's difficult to know what works best when you aren't the one behind the whole thing.  I'm not a senator, I don't know what kind of information they get; therefore, I cannot speak entirely whether or not he knows exactly where we stand with the war right now.

Would Obama make it worse?  Would McCain make it better?  Only time and history can really answer this question.

considering that the gains made in Iraq are the direct result of getting the "insurgents" aka freedom fighters, to go after A.Q. instead of us to which the "surge" happened to coincide with, I see he has no wrongdoing to admit.

Now, will will your golden boy, GWB, ever admit that going into Iraq in the first place was wrong?

NO. BUT THIS TROOP SURGE HAS ME STUMPED? WE CAN'T RESOLVE THE IRAQ SITUATION WITH OVER 150K+ OF OUR TROOPS AND 800K+ OF IRAQI FORCES. DO WE NEED A MILLION OR HAVE THE IRAQIS NOT STOCKPILED ENOUGH MONEY YET? DO THEY REALLY NEED TO BLEED US DRY.
