Alaska is already a red state.  Alaska has only 3 electoral votes.  What good does Palin do in the Electoral College for John McCain?  Absolutely none.

The only reason McCain chose Palin was to pander to the Hillary supporters.  This is backed up by Palin's awkward reference to the 18 million who voted for Hillary during the primaries.

Picking Palin is a transparently obvious desperate act.
