  1. If not, who will you blame? I do not support him, but he IS taking a very large risk in going there. Don't fool yourself and think otherwise.

  2. I totally agree with Lanikai. The only threat to Obama is right here in the "good ol' U of A"

  3. I think they are going to welcome him with open arms. From what I understand, all the foreign countries are embracing him. I think the biggest threat to him is in the USA.

  4. 50% possibility.

If Obama was assassinated by al Qaeda, would democrat be more supportive the war? Such assassination would also indicate that no talk with U.S.

If Obama will safely be back home in his Iraqi trip, that means there would be a diplomatic negotiation soon. Hopefully this will be true.

Nevertheless, he should expect some big suicide bombs hitting around him.

  5. Obama will make it home safely.  Every place that he is going will have extremely high security.  The audience will be hand-picked and the events staged for maximum effect (same as any political event in the US).

Joey: Obama is being compared to JFK for positive things not because anyone thinks he will be assassinated.

Obama's has the biggest security detail of any presidential candidate or president.  His is well protected both in the US and on foreign soil.

  6. Not if Mrs. Bill Clinton has anything to say about it.

As for the rest of the world rooting for him, that is only because he would put world interests and desires ahead of US interests, which Bush did not do, at least until you look at him and Mexico.

  7. I don't understand these kinds of dark questions. Will George W. Bush make it home safely from his next trip?

  8. Yeah, why woudn't he. They love him over there, as does the rest of the world, even the ones that hate America.

  9. I think so.

  10. Hope so other wise its gonna be a massive conspircie theory and be on the front page of all our (Australia's) newspapers.

    Why wouldn't he though?

  11. I definitely agree that the U.S gov't would be his greatest threat, especially when on the news they're comparing him to JFK.

Not to mention he would be the first African-American to make office(if he makes office).

Most of us in Canada are rooting for him.

  12. With the amount of security he is traveling with and the tons of media tagging along to catch those staged PR shots...........there isn't a chance in the world of him getting hurt by anything but an act of nature or God.

Also lets be honest he isn't going to be at the front - like a lot of the troops he wil be in the Green Zone inside the city limits of Baghdad
