  1. No, unfortunately, the Olympic committee will never give Evander Holyfield or Roy Jones, Jr. their deserved medals.  With Holyfield, he got disqualified while "punching on the break" even though the punch was thrown BEFORE the referee said it, so there is really nothing that can be done.  It was a bullsh!t call by the ref, but at the end of the day, its his call that matters, and his decision to disqualify Holyfield will stick.  Even Kevin Barry (guy that beat Holyfield) knew that he was getting his @ss wooped and should have lost.  And, Holyfield lost in the SILVER medal round, so even if they could give him the medal that he deserves, it would not be the gold.

With Roy Jones, Jr. the situation is different.  With Roy, they actually did uncover corruption and one judge admitted that the decison was "a mistake."  They also found that the Korean officials had bribed the judges (the 1988 Olympics were held in South Korea), but they still stuck with the terrible decision.  There was also some speculation that they were trying to get back at the Americans for some controversial decisions going against Korean fighters during the 1984 Olympics.  Jones outlanded him 86-32 and it is alleged that Park Si-Hun (guy that "beat" Jones) even apologized to Jones himself for the bad decision.  People have been saying for years, that Roy should be given his rightful gold medal, but it has yet to happen and I highly doubt it will.  They gave Roy "The best boxer of the tournament" award, but that doesn't come close to fixing the damage that was done.  The current points system that is used in the Olympics was implemented BECAUSE of the Jones-Park decision.  In the current points system, you are awarded one point for every punch you land, so obviously Jones would have won if that scoring was in place.  If there is one decision that should be overturned, its this one, but I know that won't happen- they should at least give him a gold medal though, because they really did ROB him of one.  They don't have to overturn the decision (although they should), but they should at least give him a complementary gold medal and then let Park keep his.  To me, that would be the fairest possible outcome, but it won't happen because that would mean there would be 2 gold medal winners that year.

Edit: Its alright my man, I've seen worse spelling on this site before and I still got what you meant to say.
