Will Ordering Colored Contacts Online be Okay?

i ordered contacts online and i was wondering if it was okay. And safe.

Depends whether you need a prescription lens of if they are just coloured fashion lenses. Either way, I think it is wiser to consult a proper optician to ensure they fit correctly and you may need advice on wearing them. If you already are used to lenses, it should be ok, but if in doubt still consult an optician.

Did you not read the answer to your first question? You ordered them and now your asking if they are okay and safe? Why don't you wait until you go blind from wearing a contact that is too tight on your cornea and then ask if it was okay to order contacts online that are not your base curve. I'm sorry, I'm a little harsh, it's not like me, but you were given a prescription for a particular brand, size, and curve of contact for a reason, if your a doctor, then you know what base curve to order, and you wouldn't ask us if it's okay.

Typically, the contacts are the same as the ones you purchase at your local optometrists office, but without supporting your local doctor. The contacts should be fine.

And if you ordered your regular brand, in your prescribed base curve and powers, I apologize for giving you "the lecture", we see it so much and people wonder why they have eye issues. Those of us who work in optical answer your questions because we care about your eyes, even if you are not our patients, we are passionate about our jobs and we are frightened by all the misinformation and scared to death about what you guys are doing to your eyes. It's not about the points, it's about keeping your eyes healthy and your mind correctly informed, at least give us the piece of mind that you are listening to us.
